Let's learn "travel Japanese"! Online Japanese lessons (90 min x 3)  with Mikiko Miyamoto 

Have you been thinking about travelling to Japan?  Before you hit the road, why don’t you join Mikiko’s Japanese lesson?  You'll learn practical Japanese you would use when travelling in Japan.  Mikiko will also share some helpful tips and manners you would find useful in Japan or just to understand Japanese culture.

"Welcome to my Japanese lesson! Don’t worry if you are struggling with Japanese. I will guide you the way to improve your Japanese. You would learn a lot of practical phrases which would be useful when you visit Japan. I hope you will enjoy the world of Japanese language. I am looking forward to seeing you all. みなさん、りょこうでつかうにほんごを、いっしょにたのしくべんきょうしましょう。

  • Day 1:  11th April 2021, Sunday 
  • Day 2:  25th April 2021, Sunday
  • Day 3 : 9th May 2021, Sunday

Time: 10:30 - 12:00 ( 1.5 hours lesson each day)

Lesson plan

Please be prepared 10 minutes before the workshop starts.

In this course, Mikiko will introduce the most commonly used conversational examples which you would use when travelling in Japan. You will learn how to express yourself in Japanese through role-playing with other students - from this, you will learn practical phrases, important vocabulary and some aspects of grammar. To improve your learning experience, she would like to make a friendly atmosphere throughout her lessons.

Prior to each lesson, you will be sent a handout that you will use in a lesson.

  2. Going out for shopping

    1. Going to sight-seeing
